im planning for a cheap upgrade so, which will add more performance in my gaming experience...adding another gig of ram or upgrading to an athlon 64 with 512kb cache? i usually play rts games with my rig in my sig...thanks:)
i got black colors in some part of the screen while playing NFSU2, and sometimes my screen turns violet at the sides, my crt is almost 6 years old, a 15" crt DTS(the brand does not exist when i search the web..)has it finally reached its end? or my video card is freaking up:confused:
yeah i know that:o its just that the game is too good that i wanted to play it at good settings...:mad: anyway ill be building a new rig soon so by then i will be oblivion worthy....:D will i be able to increase the settings if ill go for another gig of ram:P
if i add one more gig of ram will it increase my framerate in obivion? currently im playing it at 800x600 res set at medium settings...and im getting 20-25 average fps...my rig is in my sig...:mad:

i managed to over clock it to 535/1450 with stock cooling(it just wouldn't get higher than that) using coolbits,...benchmarked it using Aquamark 3 and Performance...
yes my board supports ATA133, but checking at my bios my hd only runs at ATA 100, btw..and the options are only up to ATA 100,...as what ive read at the asus site, they intentionally lock the 133 feature but it can be unlocked using the hd's driver...
hi guys, i have a samsung SP0822N 80gb hd...my mobo, an ASUS K8v-vm supports Ultra ATA 133, and so as my hd..the problem is when i got to BIOS my mobo only supports up to Ultra ATA 100, how do I unlock the Ultra ATA 133 support? any suggestions:)
