Basically anything is faster than an HDD. The 840 EVO is faster than the 750 EVO, so put the OS there and as many games as you can, especially the ones that are heavy on the RAM. It´s not a big difference between the 840 and the 750 so it´s not a big deal if you can´t fit them all there...

Yes that´s really not a big deal. Lots of people are getting the LGA1150 socket and the DDR3 is not even close to being a deal breaker. It´s still an old outdated platform and not worth the money.
