It's because your phone is new, and wasn't out when they published the Gear S2 compatibility chart.

What OS does it run? If it's Android Wear I wouldn't worry too much. But unless it's an Android Wear or Samsung Tizen device, it's going to have shit for compatibility and usefulness.

The only chance you have is auto save, if Excel opened back up look for a prompt asking if you want to open the auto save file. Otherwise you're unfortunately out of luck. This is why you need to constantly save your work.

Maybe if you buy a bunch of brand new Threadripper or Core i9's you could make that money back, but I bet most PC parts would lose value even if still new.

Computer components are some of the worst to buy in hopes of reselling later to make money. He'd be much better off buying sale items like camera lenses, as those generally don't depreciate for years. Computer hardware loses it's value really easily, especially if you use it.

Put the phone in DFU mode, plug it into iTunes, and reload the latest iOS image for it.

Now you need a switch to provide more than 1Gbps. Since Comcast tends to overprovision by 20% or so, I wonder if you bonded 2 of the 4 NIC's on the modem (which my MB8600 supports), if you'd actually get closer to 1.2Gbps.

Don't get an extender. I'd first upgrade your existing router to a dedicated wireless router, then look to add a second access point if needed.
