Dell laptop Inspirion 15 5000 Windows 10 Machine and sound were running fine today but after doing the most recent automatic update there is a red X on the sound icon and there is no sound. When I scroll over the icon it says "no audio output device is installed" Have run the troubleshooter...

Thanks for the response. No, I didn't drop it. :) I rebooted and it still didn't work. Then I shut if down for about 20 minutes and when I started it back up the touch screen works now. weird!

I have a Dell laptop which was working fine until I recently did a Dell update. After the update my touch screen no longer works but everything else seems to be ok. Inspirion 15 model 073D

The date and time are wrong. When I change them to be correct they are wrong again the next time I reboot.

Whenever I try to go to most websites my computer tells me that it cannot open the site because the connection is not secure. I have Century link broadband and I am using AVG antivirus and it is up to date and secure. any help? Thanks

When my computer boots up I get a notice that my "desktop agent tray has stopped working." It has 2 choices to choose from. "debug" or "cancel." the debug doesn't get rid of it for the next time I reboot. Cancel makes the notice go away but then I could not shut down the computer the normal...

I have tried to unintstall a few items and the machine won't let me. It says, you are not the administrator. I am the administrator. It's my personal computer at home. How can I uninstall when it won't let me? Thanks

No kids, cats, roaches, mice...LOL! Now I'm noticing that it wakes up when the messenger lets me know there is a new email. It didn't do that before.

Today I re-booted my computer with my old mouse (with a ball) plugged into it. The screen saver came on all by itself and the machine went to sleep as it was supposed to do, but it also woke up without being touched...? Tomorrow I will go out and buy a new mouse. I think that may be my problem.

OK I tried it and it still re-sets itself to 1 minute and doesn't come on.

yes, 1 minute I don't know what that means. I'm not very computer savvy. :confused:
