Just a little info for you...your 512 is not intergraded onto the motherboard. I think the 512 you are refering to is the Installed Cache Memory that is 512kb not 512mb. If you were to open up your system you should 1 512 stick or even two 256 chips. Just go get another 512 stick of DDR PC2100...

Boards in my opinion I think MSI are crap. Sorry, but I really think they are cheap. I would go with asus, abit and epox...gigabyte is also a really good board. Tyan have good boards if your doing a xeon setup. My abit NF7-S v2 is great and it has gone through a lot and still has not craped...

What type of connector is on the end of the keybord? if it is like the old AT keyboards (the end is about the size of a nickle with a little smillie face of 5 pins) you can pick up any new keyboard and buy an adapter for it. Anymore question don't be shy about posting

Wipe and reload. If the problem continues after that then you have a hardware issue, which I doubt it is. 9 out of 10 times this solves the issue.

I'm not sure on the software, but it does sound like your hard drive is going bad. I would scan it for bad sectors. You may have to replace the drive and do a fresh load.

Okay....heres the situation. I had a 2k-pro box with some data on it and i used the encryption option on some of the data. What I did was I copied that data to a secondary drive on my xp-pro box(both 2k and xp are NTFS partitions). Now I am trying to access the data through winxp and I can't...
