Yeah I don't see me doing it. Even pushing the voltage to 1.4 I couldn't get 4.9 to boot for more than a minute or two before locking up and even with that the idle temp didn't change so it's not temps holding me back. I'm just at the limit of this chip and delidding isn't going to change that...

I'm on the fence about it. Buddy of mine has one of the delidding tools and just did his 7700k and there was nothing to it with that thing, but this cpu already runs cool so I dunno that I'd get all that much out of it by doing it.
