I've been trying to install Kali in a new VM to try some PenTesting and I keep getting an error message that says. Operating system not found. Any ideas what may be causing this? Using OS X 10.9 and VMWare Fusion 5.0.4

I'm looking at the connectors on the PSU. On the second section they all seem to have the same connector could I place the SATA cable in any of ports? I'm trying to get the best cable management of this rig. Why are there two motherboard connections?

Looking forward to seeing the full photoshoot. I checked out the Corsair AX series PSU. The lowest wattage PSU for that series is 650w which in my case is probably massive overkill. I'm looking for something with lower wattage. A semi-passive, low wattage modular PSU seems like the way to go...

I've gone through several mobos I have selected most of the components. I am still looking for a modular PSU that will be able to power this rig. 350W should be more than enough. The restrictions of the Prodigy case are as such. PS2 ATX (bottom, multi direction), PSU cage depth 180mm, max PSU...

I've been reading up on chipsets. It seems like the 6-series chipset do not natively support USB 3.0. I then looked into the new 7-series chipset. It seems like the H77 chipset would work well. I do not need to Overclocking abilities nor do I want to use a GPU. I started looking for a...

Great thanks for the reply. I'll definetely get that CPU. That picture gallery didn't show much. So far it's the best mini itx case I could find for the money I'll have to look into it more. The silverstone case won't do because I need several 3.5" bays. Why do you recommend the z77...

So the i5 3570k is a must. I can't find it on newegg. what's the price. The gigabyte board has two sata 6gb ports and four sata 3 ports. I mostly want ivy bridge for USB 3.0 and the improved integrated GPU. The photoshop requirements don't seem so bad. The HD 4000 should work right?

I don't think he'll need a video card for now. The HD4000 will be more then enough. probably just get a faster 7200 RPM drive or one of those hybrid drive depending on cost. I'd like to highlight I want to use a modular PSU. The GX650 didn't seem modular. Do any of the quieter PSU come...
