unplug the system and check any pins getting short (usb), use sharp needle type device to rectify

if not so important DATA then normally partition all the hard disk again and install fresh OS or low level format first all 3 hdd's (hard to recover the data in this mode)

its 100% RAM problem, try replacing RAM and also try to repair xp with clean boot cd

U can clean boot with xp cd and then upgrade without losing data. and other option as said above

first try to update drivers and then also if its not coming then uninstall drivers> then delete inf file related to the driver> Then Restart> Install Updated Driver again This will do for you.

check for wireless option, i hv not checked netbook. but operated windows ce on my mobile and also check wireless button/switch on ur netbook (may be on keyboard or side)

I will prefer Intel Then AMD, but in some cases AMD is better for shorter period running hrs. As a hardware engineer i hv seend Intel is good to run for longer period of hrs.

try running chkdisk and check display settings, is display driver correct? if ur not using more graphics then keep 16 bit colour in display settings

if its not virus problem then try one of these options. 1. try to boot from cd go to repair option and run check disk(scandisk) may be it hard drive problem and the try to clean ram slots, re-insert RAM. before replacing SMPS

if xp is good then boot from xp bootable cd and repair it ( fixboot) or clean install xp it will remove boot manager

didnt got u, but from right clik>properties>advance>startup and recovery you can make boot changes.

if its showing 169.254.xxx then it means it is not connected to lan/internet. but, if its also no problem if ur able to browse. its only pc-router/modem connection. try this option right click on ur network connection and try to diagnose/repair. it will solve the problem. may be its taking same...

May be RAM prob. Try to replace RAM Chip, and also are you connecting the monitor cable to onboard display connector or the graphic card. b.coz it automatically disables on display if graphic card it connected.

May be RAM Problem if ur not able hear any beeps then try to clean Memmory slots and re-insert Memmory modules. if its not reply me back.
