Hello :)

I want to help my little brother get a gaming computer so we can both play together, it's for games only nothing else and his budget is £500 including mouse, monitor and keyboard, so probably about £400 max for the computer itself

Please can someone help me out as I know nothing about pc's :) we got a 750gb hard drive already:D

I could configure you a build but I'm feeling lazy at the moment. Go for something along the lines of an i3, a Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Carbide 300R, Radeon HD 6850 or 6870, a Corsair CX 500 and a DVD-RW drive. Should be about £500.

I come up with £526 from ebuyer, exclude delivery. If you really want to stay under £500, change G2120 to G630

intel G2120
MSI B75MA-P45
Crucial 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600
Powercolor 6870 1GB
Sony AD-5280S-0B DVD Drive
Corsair 500W CX V2 PSU
Casecom K5-7688 case
Xilence Black 120mm Case Fan
MS Win 7 Premium 64bit OEM
ACER S220HQLBBD LED LCD Full HD 22" DVI Monitor
Altec Lansing 2.1 Speaker System
Black Wired Keyboard & Mouse Bundle - USB

thanks you for your answers :) It will be a Christmas present, it looks a lot more powerful than I thought which is great! :) do you think these specs will handle games such as Skyrim on medium details?

Thanks :)
