sorry... that genuinly shows you how little i know about computers.... 3.9 ghz ..


As a complete diy novice,i was able to take the stock intel cpu fan off and use that as a rear controlled case fan and fit a pro freeze fan in its place.. then enter bios and get cpu to run at 3.9 ghz then download after burner program and tweak graphics card.... The power pack was noisy ,so i fitted a silent one and added a second dvd drive and second hard drive so in the event of failure i can reboot in 2 minutes from the second drive....

i use the computer to trade from and have 2 screens on the go and a link to tv.. most of the time i have up to 20 graphs /charts open and am using 7 gig of ram...

speed is of the essence to me, hence my question.
