Technically 1 big one is faster until it starts to get full. It also keeps more bays free for air flow or other drives.
 
My first harddrive has my OS and all standar programs on it. Msn, nortons, and all those basic installs from games and programs.

Second hardrive is all my stuff. All my music, all my photos, all my premire and photoshop projects, movies.

Third harddrive is all for my daw. Host app, vsts, sound libraries. etc....

For me, having multiple drives works out much better. Im never going over having 3 internal harddrives though.
 
I'm getting two. One for games and what not. Than the other for pictures. Does any know if I can put vista on my gaming hard drive if its not my primary hard drive?

Not sure if your asking a question, CaptainAwesom.. But the cost would depend on the drive sizes..

I have one 500GB as a main drive, and love it.

I connect my two other drives, that I've used in the past, which still have an OS on them, but I use them to get some files.






Arrrrgh...
