1 monitor 2 computers

My monitor has two connections at the back to plug into the computer. Can i hook up both computers to the one monitor. I currently swap the monitor between the computers when there on, is it safe to connect the two computers up to the one monitor.
 
Hmm two connections at the back? I have yet to see those, but I know that its possible to have a monitor to two computers, I have that setup right now. I'm using a KVM switch box. Maybe your monitor has a KVM switchbox built in.
 
Nah, all of the newer monitors have 2+ methods in.
My 22" WS ProView has 2 DVI in, and 1 D-Sub in, for 3 total.
I can switch between all the connections by using a little button on the bottom of the monitor.

KVM Switches are nice, except usb keyboards/mice are tough to get to work with them.
 
Yeah, I have DVI and VGA on my monitor. A KVM switch would probably be best so you don't have to swap your keyboard and mouse as well, but I do that when going between my PC and mac. Though I also still use a PS/2 keyboard on my PC :P
