If so, you can attach the printer to one of the computers. On both machines you can go to "My Network Places" and click on the "Network Setup Wizard", follow the steps and turn on printer and file sharing.
You install the printer to one machine. You then network the two PC's together. You will need a Hub or router and Network cable to hook the PC's together. If that is not convenient then you might consider wireless equipment.
