to get everything working, you will need to install drivers that you should get with your motherboard

thats what i thought at first to, but he said all his old files are there. I would boot from the XP Pro cd, and format your hard drive, then install xp.

I tried to format too,but when it reach 100% it said format failed, and I dont have .the drive,Well is there anyway like take my haredrive off or take memory off to start the computer over again?

Reinstall all the driver's. just because they are there from the prevois windows, doesn't mean they are oging to work now, they need to be set in with this windows.

what do you m ean take harddrive off and take memory off to start the computer over again? can't you hit the restart button? And what method are you using to reformat your hd? You should trry booting with the xp pro cd and reformatting it from there.

do you have another computer to get online cause if you do you can download the drivers and burn them to a cd and then put the cd in the other computer and install the drivers

well,I can use my friend's comp, but can you give me the site that I download it and the step that I should follow,as I said before I am kinda dumb on comp.

well do you know what your hardware names are like the videocard ati radieon or nvida geforce and your soundcard. i dont know what else needs drivers but if you can find out that information and go to the website and find the drivers and download and burn them to a disk if your friends comp has a cd burner.

post back if you need more help

yeah,I know the name,so the driver you mean is the program that run my hardware, right? But where and what keyword to find them?

nvm,I thought those lable on the site of my comp tell me about the hardware ,so how do I find out? and does this fix the drive of my last OS.I just found out that my new drive got only 5gb and my old 1 got 245gb.THAT MEANS I GOT 245GB THAT I CANT USE...*sob*

that sucks

By running the installer ... now where to get the installer thats a whole different issue: you get to figure out the make and model of all the hardware inside your computer, goto the maker's website and download the appropriate drivers:)
