100% cpu

Hi i have a windows xp sp3 and the CPU usage reach 100% and it want go down even if i restart the computer it still is 100%

computer specs asus intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz 2gb ram 300gb HDD

ctrl+alt+delete+ "sart task manager"and have a look at processes and see which one is using all the cpu and to determin if its needed or not, if its not then you can stop the process and see if the cpu usage falls!

then go uninstall it

hi yes i have tired all that went down but still high around 80% do you think the cpu fan needs cleaning

Go into task manager and find out what process is using most of the cpu usage.

virus/spam etcetera got installed on your pc some how.even if you end process in task manager most just start right back up.i suggest you use malwarebytes here- http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
