$1000 Budget

I've decided to buy a computer pre-built and need some advice on what to get.

I'm going to be running Vista and will mostly be using the computer for music and if possible games.

Also I already have what I think is a nice monitor but I will need a new keyboard and mouse. They wont count towards the budget but i could use some recommendations.

Thanks and good luck getting laid tonight :)

Advice

I would for sure consider building you own. Mwave.com has definitely been the most reliable and cheap in my experiences building pc's. if u need any help just get ahold of me on Aim which if u dont have can download from aim.com and message me. my screen name is jay49fan4ever For $1000 i came up with and suggest this build but its your computer of course.

Case - APEVIA X-QBOII-BK/500 (black) micro ATX w/500w power supply - $76
Mobo - ASUS M3N78-VM nvidia geforce 8200 - $80.75
Processor - AMD Phenom X4 quad core 9500 - $169
Ram - Crucial 4gb DDR2 800 (2GBx2) - $90
Hard Drive - WD 500gb (WD5000KSRTL) caviar - $109.35
Keyboard - LOGITECH cordless desktop s510 keyboard & mouse - $40
Sound Card - CREATIVE LABS soundblaster sb0570 audigy se 24-bit 7.1 - $26.50
Speakers - LOGITECH x-540 5.1 speaker system 70-watt - $61.91
Video Card - DIAMOND ATI Radeon HD 3650 1gb - $94.79

This Total is $748.30

If u add another 4gb for $90

Also i would buy some cooling fans for cheap

This system here with or without the extra 4gb of ram would be great for music and would play any game on the market today.

oh

and 1 thing i forgot was a Dvd Drive.

I would suggest:

ASUS drw-2014l1t SATA lightscribe DVD rw drive

For only $36.90 it has light scribe and is a decent drive.

Remember you can find all these parts on many sites or in stores but i recommend strongly www.mwave.com
