~$1000 computer

Hi

I've been browsing around trying to come up with the best deal for a gaming comp around $1000...

Basically the system in this thread is what im after: http://www.computerforum.com/138987-500-1000-what-would-you-build.html

Thing is i'm in Canada and can't order from newegg. I saw this other site suggested called http://NCIX.com

I'm pretty sure I want the same main components as the above thread (q6600, 4870 1GB, single GPU mobo and a 'good' power supply) Just not sure if I could save some coin by going with different secondary components...

I'm just trying to figure out if I should copy this system part for part since some parts seem to be cheaper than others (things like the case, Power supply, type of RAM, cooler)

Was wondering if someone could recommend the 'same' setup from a Canadian retailer (such as NCIX.com or any other you know of)

great forum and thanks in advance.

yea you can order from newegg.ca but its more expensive so he would have to downgrade a few parts if its going to equal 1000 canadian dollars
