120hz a worthy investment?

Right now i have a 60hz monitor and the choppiness when turning the camera quickly in very frustrating. Currently i mostly play WoW, but it is particularly annoying in fps game. I tried playing wow with vsync of and i am getting over 200 frames so meeting the demand of the 120hz monitor would be easy. Does anyone have experience with a switch like this. This problem is also made worse when i try to record and i lose frames because of vsync.
 
It really wouldent be a big jump, and will probably not notice any difference. 240hz would be a noticable difference though.
 
If your recording to a slow harddrive, id say your problem may be there. Try writing to a ssd so the computer doesnt have to work so hard.
