120Hz Monitor with 60Hz HDMI TV

Hello,

I have a 120Hz monitor that I have had for some time and I recently added a TV to my room. I connected my desktop to the TV via HDMI. Upon doing this, my monitors refresh rate is automatically changed down to 60hz. I am wondering if it is possible to have the monitor maintain 120hz and the tv 60 hz while showing the same desktop. It is just a hassle to unplug the hdmi cable ever time I want to play a game and then change the refresh rate back up.


I have 2x SLI GTX 560 Ti's 2GB.

P.s the TV does not have display port...
 
If what you mean is, can you have the TV and monitor hooked up at the same time with one running at 120 and the other at 60, no. Has to be both at 60 or 120. Cant run two different refresh rates at the same time.
