$124 6850?

It won't fit mate, you can't get your 6 pin PCIe connector into the end of the card with .25" left to spare.

And it would seem the price has gone up a bit since you posted this:

$175 normal
-$15 MIR = $160
-$10 promo = $150

The second promo doesn't count, the gift card, that is a separate thing to be used on a separate transaction, so the price puts it in line with the PowerColor and HIS card on there
 
oh, looks like I may have a 6850 fs then cuz I already pulled the trigger on it as the other promo was ending. I found a promo code separate from the one on NE page. Was $149 before the 25 off.

The card came today. It's 9" overall, but just 8.5" in the case, so it will fit :)

Any suggestions on installing it?

edit: looks like i may have the correct newest driver/software already. v. 11.2 (ob4xxx/6850/7x64)

It fits as is. The review I got the dinentions from said 9", and it is, but that's all the way to the end of DVI out. What fits in the case is 8.5". Got it running about an hour or so ago.
