1600xt or 850xt

I can get them for $90 each which one is better it seems the 850 has 16 pipelines but doesn't support shader 3.0 the 1600 has only 12 pipelines and does support shader 3.0..which one help?

yea I would of got the pe if they had it but it's ok they both have the same gpu I think the only difference is the pe comes overclocked.

Yea, the PE is overclocked a bit. You could probally overclock up to the PE if you tried.

I agree that 850XT is better, but I don't agree that it is twice as good
Twice as good means that it can get double the frame rate per sec

But according to this benchmark the X850xt was little better than X1600xt, and in some of the tests X1600xt was the better.

You can say that X850xt is overall 15% better or 25% at most, but not twice as good !!!!

Also don't forget that X1600xt supports newer technology, and it runs much cooler than X850xt

Obviously it doesn't produce twice the framerates, I was simply saying that purely spec wise, the x850xt is almost twice as powerful. But we know from SLI and CF that having two, doesnt mean the framerates will be twice as good.
