anybody know where I can get anything good? I tried google and the stuff I found on the firs few pages just seems artifacted and stretched.

Rambo probably put the best links out there. Those 2 sites should do you just fine.
Destopography is also a nice site, not all of the wallpapers support you res, but theres still some nice ones that do
Also, what did you search in google? One of the best things to do is just search 1680x1050 in images. Or 1600x1200.

Agreed, that's where I get my wallpapers.
Desktopography also has some great wallpapers.
