I heard L2 is MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than RAM. Is this true?
Also, if so, is 1MB L2 Cache fast for playing like a few games that are a bit under 1.5 gb each?
Also, I found this computer; with the stats above and this
Processor Brand: AMD
Processor Class: Athlon 64 X2
Processor Type: Dual-Core
Processor Speed: 2.0GHz
Processor Number: QL-62
Processor FSB: 3600MHz
Processor Cache: 1MB L2 Cache
GPU/VPU: nVidia GeForce 8200M
Video Memory: Up to 1407MB
I play a few games that aren't big, and like 1.5 GB or less each. Would this be a computer that I'd want? I really just want a fast computer that won't make all of my games lag.
I'm on a $500-$600 limit, but this one has 250 GB too, so please help? =)
Thanks for all of your help!
