Theyre are so many & don't know which or what would be the best to get. What im looking for in what the motherboards can do is:
Alot of ram 4Gb+ at least & run fast
Relly good video & sound:I want to run 1080 with 7.1ch
3Ghz+ cpu or Multiple core cpu,I would like a multiple core that has 3ghz+ each.Im ingorant with cpus,I just look at the ghz & add if its multi core.Whichever is higher is faster. At least thats what I think.
Play video games well, but not specificly for gaming.Ill be playing games but heavily.

I started to look for tower cases first. But then I decided to look for the motherboard first.Im not completely ignorant with computer parts.I know a few basics, like puting one together. Its the technical specifications on the parts.

You are able to choose from plenty of motherboards with those requirements.
www.newegg.com is a great website to search and buy computer parts. Try using the filters there and after you get to a motherboard, go to the "details" or "specs" tabs.

-Pretty much all motherboards now can accept at least that much ram.

-Some motherboards can do 7.1, but you will probably need an additional Sound card to support better audio, so basically make sure your motherboard has the expansion slot of the sound card you decide on.

-For AMD, choose a motherboard that is at least AM2+ or AM3. There are processors for those type sockets in which you are looking for. Remember however, higher Ghz and more cores is not always better. There is processor architecture to worry about as well. Additionally, most games and programs only use 1-2 cores at the moment, but there will be more and more in the future to use more.

-Playing games is going to be dependent on other components more than your motherboard, such as your graphics card. Make sure that the motherboard you purchase has at least one PCI express x16 slot, as that is the interface for all your better, modern graphics cards.

Good luck! We at CF are always willing to help! :)

What is your overall budget?
If you use it for gaming, the requirement of run 1080 can be ignore, as you will need a video card instead.
number of GHz make no reference of how fast the CPU nowadays...
