I've played halo 2 on XBOX 360 before. I play on the pc now and use the keyboard and mouse. I try to aim but i'm having a hard time. i tried ajusting the mouse sensitivity and it helps a little. Has any one had a problem with aim well as a fist time in FPS on pc?

Everyone...

First time is the hardest of times. Just keep on playing, in about a month you'll be way better.

strange you shouldn't have aiming problems if you're a gamer, i played half life 2 on pc then played it on xbox without difficulty. you just need to try harder or change the mousepad ...

I played the Halo 1 trial and the engine felt kind of 'heavy' for me, that could be some of it. But then again thats the Halo 1 engine not the Halo 2 engine.

Tends to happen, and since the console is a hell easier thanks to the joystick, like webbenji said just keep playing you'll get used to it and get better

For FPS', the PC is by far the easiest and best way to aim a gun, console controllers dont even come close.

What I did with CS was put my sensitivity fairly high, then keep reducing it every few rounds, until I got low, then I played with that for a long time, and gradually reduced it.

lol it seems you haven't play a lot of games where you move with w,s,a or d

I play all my pc games with WASD (I like to pronounce it "wazzda" :D). It really isn't that hard once you get used to it.

Yeah, definitely. I was brought up on console games. The first time I used Wazzda, it was cake. I mean they're situated perfectly for the hand! And ctrl and shift is just a pinky away.. I thought playing on a PC was much easier than on console. The joysticks just can't compete with a keyboard and mouse IMO. :)
