I have this processor overclocked to 2.9ghz i just wondered if anyone out there had any ideas how far you can push the chip?

I know a lot of people dont like celerons but for the cost they are in my opinion a good budget chip.

1. Whats the core?
2. What are your specs? :)
3. Nobody can tell you because its highly dependent on the stuff you've got :)

lol yeah, let me clear on that, a BETTER heatsink/fan to cool your system... lol

well, for starters you need a additional fan/heatsink to continue
overclocking or u will burn your cpu..anyways i think you should leave
the cpu as it i unless you really want to keep goin you should download
pc wizard 2005    to monitor your cpu temp.. good luck
Why not just use a motherboard monitoring utility which is designed to do that task?

Better? What HSF does he have on the chip now?

I guess he could that. Is up to him to decide which method is more appropiate for him.

it says in his specs that he's fan is stock that why I concluded that he may need a better one.

he would definately need a better fan than stock to push it any more. a nice big 14cm fan should do it. but i think u have pushed it pretty far as is. i dont know how much performance gain you will get
