2 Hard Drives..

I have two hard drives. one is 40 the other is 60, and i installed the 60 today, and everysince my comptuer has slowed down when starting up, and a little when using apps... I formated and turned quota off, and checked the master and slave settings... so what could be the cause?

What are the formats of hard drives and are they IDE???

if there are 2 HDD it should be one master and the secondary should be slave, actually the slow case of your computer, you don't have to formatted, you can defrag it and maybe this can help your problems

If one of your HDD's are ATA33 (let's just say), and the other is ATA133 or so, and connected on the same cable, the ATA33 drive will slow the speed of the faster drive...
