2 Monitors with 5770 Flashing

I've got 2 monitors coming from my OC 5770. A 1600 x 900 monitor situated on the right and a 1280 x 1024 on the left. I have it set to "extend these displays". I get random screen jumping vertically and tearing of images horizontally on my smaller monitor when watching videos and sometimes just on random occassions. It's more of an annoyance than anything. Any tips on how to fix it? I've updated to latest drivers as far as I know. Specs in sig below.

Thanks for any help.

Many people tell different issues for this, some say don't overclock GPU, some say the resolutions/refresh rate of both monitor should be same, some say check the cables. Different things. Do you have the above settings correct?

Well it's overclocked and the resolutions are kinda funky since one is fullscreen and one is widescreen. I'm going to leave my card overclocked. I may be able to fix the resolution though. Not sure about refresh rate.

Edit: Both refresh rates are at 60 hertz.

Make sure the monitors are plugged into the card securely? Sometimes I get on this on my 5870 with two monitors. One monitor is 1080p, the other is 1280x1024.

One is direct DVI to the bigger monitor then the second one goes through DVI to VGA converter out of the card to a VGA cable to the smaller monitor. I'll check the connections. It happens more on the small monitor but does happen on occasion on both. What makes me think it isn't the connection is that it happens under certain events. Videos and other things like that. When I was changing my settings I was hitting drop downs and whenever I clicked a drop down the screen would tear and jump once right above it.
