2 NPF Errors!

When i log onto my computer my Norton Personal Firewall is booting an error message:

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\PROGRAM FILES\NORTON PERSONAL
FIREWALL\INTROWIZ.EXE

abnormal program termination
_________________________________________

And since it is set as disabled, whenever i open the NPF screen, it stays blank in the section that shows status and just keeps thinking. Than it prompts me with another message:

I uninstalled both. Then reinstalled both but the problem persists

Any Ideas?

Both? I'm only seeing Norton Personal Firewall....

In any case, I think its a case of services not being registered properly or something messed up with the launching of services

And since it is set as disabled,

Any luck if you reenable it

2nd thing was my anti-virus

nope, the status screen won't load so i can't enable the running services

I meant windows services (Start --> RUn --> services.msc)

Do you have any problems if you just use the Antivirus and not the firewall (and vice versa)?

I never used to have a problem.. when i was running both
Only in the last day or so

they ran quite nicely together before

i don't have a "services.msc" file... i'm on a 98SE machine

Gosh with Windows98... could be a bunch of things .... :S ... you update/change anything lately? (regardless of whether you "uninstalled" or "undid" them)?
