If you have two OS's, does it take longer to boot up? Can I choose which OS I want the computer to boot up with?
Yes, you will probably be presented with a boot menu and it will ask you wich one to boot. And no, it will most likely not slow things down.

Yea i am dual booting linux and windows. Install windows first and create one partition for windows. Then install linux, create a partition for linux and create a swap also, about 512mb-1gb.

you can have it so you selct from a list at boot, or you can have it load one always and if you want the other one you go to the boot menu(f8) and pick it.

that's so tight. So you can either run two or more OS at once, or setup a boot list to pick from? How do you set up the menu? I'm building a 64 bit system. I have linux and x64 OS's.

You can't run two Os's at once unless you have Vmware or another virtual computer program.

Also: If you want to use a older version of windows with a newer version make sure that you install oldest first.
Example: Lets say you were going to install every windows os with the exception of the two other oses that no one uses It would go 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP int that exact order.
