HI!

First of all, english isn't my mother tongue, so forgive me some spelling errors. ;)

I would like to connect 2 PC's on 1 monitor.
I already saw that you can buy VGA splitters for connecting 2 monitors with 1 computer.

But..... If I put a VGA splitter in my monitor and connect it with my 2 computers, maybe the monitor will show the screen from where the signal comes?
(1 of the 2 computers will always be off, just to make sure the monitor wil only recieve 1 signal from 1 PC)

Can this work?

Greets.. ;)

Most monitors come with multiple inputs.
I have a pretty standard monitor, with VGA, DVI and HDMI. I could plug three computers to my monitor, and then choose between which cable I wanna go with.
The option to select a different cable to show the image from is often called 'Media' or 'Source'.
Hope this answers you question.
