2 pin connector

I noticed a small 2 pin connector on the side of my XFX GTS 250. What is it for? It didn't come with any cables to connect to it.

I assume it came with an owner's manual, but if not I found this on NVIDIA's website:

nothing in the owners manual. In fact, there hardly is an owner's manual.

Its for a sound wire to hook to your sound card/onboard sound if you use a HDMI cable so it can transfer sound.

that small 2 pin connector is for a GPU fan... my 3870's fan plugs into it. From what i know, if you plug a fan into that space, it runs at default speed and cannot be changed with speedfan or w/e
