two questions before ordering my parts.

Which CPU should i go with? Q9300 og Q6600?

What MOBO should i go with for my build? I'm going with 4gigs of Ram and 3870X2 for GPU. Planning on Xfire later. I want it to be future proof too. But I do not want to spend too much money on it.

What's your budget on the motherboard?

Either CPU is fine...

I would go with the Q9300, as its based off of 45nm technology.

But that depends on his motherboard If he gets that CPU he might not be able to getta 45nm compatible motherboard.

i didnt have to flash my mobo to get my 45 to work. they sell them with new bios installed now.
