2 XPs?

I have 2 hard drives in my computer, with XP currently installed on one. Can I install XP on the other drive also, so that if I remove 1 drive, I can still boot XP?

I don't see why not. Same idea as dual boot, just on different drives. You might have to do something to master/slave settings in the bios to make it work.

One HDD is SATA, the original drive that came with the system, and the one that I want to install XP on. The other is IDE.

How will I tell which is which in the boot menu?

Well I am installing XP right now on the other drive. I sure hope this works....

Just to clarify, I will be able to boot from either drive at any time?
