I bought a p5vdc-x mobo just to do the regular stuff like skype and office stuff or whatever. I like this mobo because it has 8x agp and 16x PCIe and also it has both DDR and DDR2, which I think is cool.
Anyway, I only have a 20 pin PSU and I AM going to order a 24 pin, but before I do that, is it OK to just plug that 20 pin in the mobo? The last 4 pins are as far as I heard only for powering PCIe or something?
also I have no clue what PFC function is, can you help me explain it?
