Will a 20 Pin +4 pin psu work on a 24 pin mobo?

does the connector have 20 pins with the option of clipping on 4 more? in which case yeah it will work no probs

Your question is a bit vague, do you mean that your power supply has a 20+/-4 Pin and a 4 pin? Or just a 20Pin and a 4Pin? The 4Pin is suppose to be connected to the 4Pin plug (usually by the cpu), and you should have a 24Pin connector for the 24 pin plug.

Will this psu work on this mobo? I recently started my first build witht these two products and the psu wont turn on I just see a yellow light that turns on,on the MOBO. No fans or anything else turn on either
