Does anybody know how much space Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional takes?
I have 2000 at the moment and also have XP Pro on CD, is it worth upgrading?

Yes.

I think that Windows XP Pro takes up +- 1.5 Gigs of space. However, it is worth it in terms of software support. I say go with the flow and upgrade.

win2k since you have a small hard drive.
winxp inflates to double the size when you install sp2.

not too sure about win2k sp4 tho, but you should install that before going on the internet. :)

XP has a much better self-diagnosis, though
Perhaps but 2000 doesnt have much of a need for "self-diagnosis" -- what diagnosis apps were you talking about?

I mean that if something is unplugged, a bubble pops up saying that.....OK maybe I don't totally know what I mean:D But it is very user-friendly, IMO
