200gig harddrive

shouldnt this be in a different section..
what do you mean by randomly stops reading? are you able to copy stuff from and to it? or does it just stop in the middle of copying?
 
STops working all together? How long is it on when it does this? Has it always done it? Does it radomy start and stop working? Info helps...trust me.
 
Whenever im moving data, the needle jumps, and either my computer freezes or i get a delayed write failure. If i reboot it reads fine again, and if i dont acess it after about 24 hours i get a delayed write failure and it stps reading. Its in internal Western Digital 200gig harddrive.
 
i suggest you backup your data immediately...
if in fact the hard drive is the problem, you could lose all your data.

lol i thought signatures that long werent allowed in this forum? or maybe it was another forum...
