That should be enough, even if you plan to game. I remember trying it on my other computer and I ran out of RAM a few times, having only 1G.

yes, 2gb should do fine. watch out while gaming though quake 4 sucks almost 2gb of memory on high quality... with that 7900gt you may like to max the quality settings to ultra
just wondering but i thought 7900gt has 512mb of video memory? the one in your sig says 256mb...

nononono, the GTX has 512, and there's a limited edition 512MB version of the 7900GT
