gave it 2 sticks of 128MB RAm, and i turn it on, nothing. (everything works no beeps but no image on screen) . turn it off, and press the RAM in to make sure its making contact . turn iton, it works, then it says something about the NTFS driver lost, corrupted, please repair by loading theinstallation disk and repair the HDD. I try that... it says ANOTHER file is gone..

i had the same thing happen to me....i lost everything...and was forced to remove the new stick of RAM and do a fresh install of windows xp. Best of Luck.

("Edit": My error read 'NTLDR' though...not what yours says.)

If it's your ntldr you can fix that. If i remember correctly it's a file called fixntldr.zip. Just google it and follow the instructions from there on.

wow.. compys are weird. put the 2k CD in there, and a blue screen pops up. it says memory error, i take one stick out, it loads XP and works! but now i gotta buy more pc100 ram..........
