24" Monitor Comparison??

I am planning on getting dual 24" monitors, (more specifically I want the 1920x1200 res). I am going to be doing a lot of photo editing so I would like a quality image, and some gaming. I don't have a ton of money for monitors, so the high high end are obviously out of the question.

I was looking at:

SAMSUNG 2433BW (this is about the most I can spend,$275 or so)

SCEPTRE X24WG-1080P

ASUS MK241H Black 24"

I have had a lot or recommendations for the AZUS but I am wondering why? I am willing to pay a little more for quality.

Id go with the asus, best monitor for the price imo. Great contrast ratio/res, built in webcam, HDMI, etc plus ive never had any problems with the asus monitors ive used.

So do you think that the other ones are just over priced? Do you think they would provide a noticeable difference in quality?

More than likely not, i have a samsung monitor right now that i paid a little over $270 for, and right now am looking at replacing it with a 24" asus.

I have Samsung T22 and I believed i payed for the name "Samsung." Not much better than my 5 year old laptop monitor. Best is ASUS for sure. Very good specs for the price, my friend has 22" ASUS one, looks amazing. Payed $260 for my Samsung. Considering the 24" is better ASUS FTW!

That is VERY interesting.....

What Samsung do you have?

216BW, i actually just want a larger screen, plus i like the HDMI that the asus has(finally would use my ps3 more, i dont like gaming on my tv...), and for 1920x1200 res and 24" screen at cheaper than samsung. My samsung is excellent, good picture quality, but at the moment i just think price->performance is with asus. Also.. i kinda need a new monitor as i have a 3" scratch down one side of it. But at the moment im broke so any upgrades will be put on hold for at least a few months(at the moment im working on finishing my attic and puttin my bedroom up there). I love samsung, great monitors...just... overpriced. And the fact asus has a 3yr warranty vs samsung 1 year, and with asus if you even have one dead pixel they replace, while samsung i think u need 8 dead pixels for them to replace it.
