Alot of the "good" cards seem, to be 24 bit, What about a 32 bit? That's what i have. ialso have an old 16 bit :p

its only for clarity on recording. all cd are distributed with a 16 bit track, it basically ensures that 16 bit quality can be guaranteed... thats the only reasoning i can think of.
i suppose its like graphics cards that can only display up to 24-bit colour instead of 32-bit
