Hey everyone i need help with my hdd : 250 GB Hitachi (HDS722525VLAT80).
I think i have a problem with my motherboard (MSI DOR). i put my new hdd the hitachi that is, as a slave under my old hdd. i put the jumpers on CD and AB. so i put in all the cables and everything and i start my computer . and it says i have new hardware . but when i check in ''my computer'' i see a new DVD-Rom.. i wonder why the hell this is happening? ive been looking for an explanation but i havent found one. please try to help me.. as i just bought this hdd cuz i was running out of free space.please try to help me.
Edit : I tried asking my friend to download a flash for my motherboard. but he said if he did it would only update til 160 gb. help anyone?
