27 inch monitor

i am looking to buy an lcd tv that i could also use as a computer monitor. theres a deal on tigerdirect.com that has a $100 rebate on a 27 inch flat screen tv making it $549. in the reviews people say that they hooked it up to their computers. is a 27 inch monitor possible or should i get a smaller tv that i could also use as a monitor?

Well any size monitor is possible, but you might run into problems with the resolutions that your graphics card would support. At that size, you would probably want something like 3000 x 2200 or whatever for it to look right.
