If either of them are on cable select then make both on cable select. If not, then if one is master than make the other salev and vice versabut do I have to set the jumper to 2nd slave master and will bios pick the drive up or will I have to set up bios to pick the drive up or do I just plug the 2nd ide interface cable to hd and away we go. I thought there was more to it than that.

Well the title above that one is "PATA" and as ive described earlier the relartionship with PATA and IDE/ATA ...I meant the larger cord with the blue stripe
Well it would have been nice to know that .... how manypins does it have? Sounds like a SCSI cable.But it's not ide/pata or whatever
