2nd HDD wont show

I installed a 2nd hard drive, the system detected it (loaded the driver successfully) It shows up in the device manager but under My Computer its not there, and wont let me send anything to it. Have I over looked something? Any info will be much appreciated.

Right click on computer and pick manage. From there exand storage and click disk management. You should see your new drive, right click on it, pick initialize. Once that is done right click again and partition/format.
