3 beeps and no memory in Gateway

I bought a "gateway micro atx san professional" at a yard sale for $1. It has everything but a memory stick.
I can't find it at Gateway.com, but it's a 1000gig system made in 2000.
I have tried 100 memory sticks and 133 memory sticks from some older pc's but the pc beeps 3 times and repeats 3 beeps.

Is the wrong memory the beeping or something else?

The serial number is 0023336798.

The model is GA PROFESSIONAL V1000SE PC, i found this on the site but no other information.
The system might work if I can find the right memory stick for it.

I enjoy fixing old pc's and giving them away. So far in two years I've given away 6 pc's that work fine and now older people like myself, can enjoy the internet and all the truth that's out there.
So many of them belived what they read in the local paper and thought it was the gospel.
Now there eye's are open....
