3 monitors

hey I'm trying to get a 3 monitor set up working but my computer seems to only be allowing me to use two

I'm using one video card and have all 3 plugged into it one of my monitors is my TV and its using the mini HDMI input

My MB and Videocard
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Asus P6X58D PREMIUM

could it be my MB or Videocard that only allowing me the use of two ?

Your video card can only support up to 2 monitors and unless you have an integrated video card in your motherboard/cpu you'll have to get another video card to use more than 2 monitors.

Your old video card and the new video card are not compatible with eachother. The new 6 series GeForce cards are capable of running 3 displays simultaneously so that might be your option.

Do you have a good 650 Watt PSU ?

to OP. be sure to get the ti version of the 660. good improvement over the standard 660. go for the 3 gig version too, if your going to be gaming on 3 monitors.
