3 Monitors?

I want to play Oblivion on 3 monitors. Do I need to get the Triplehead2go adapter or is there a cheaper way of doing this?

Thanks,
Jeff

Edit: Oh, if I have 2 monitors running games presently and don't like the plastic between the screens. (My crosshairs are affected) If I could get a pretty much seamless 2 monitor setup, I'd rather do that. Any ideas? So far all I can think of so far is 2 projectors, but that is priiicy.

You may want to plan on using an SLI or ATI Crossfire setup in order to add that third monitor assuming you are currently extending the desktop. There will the hardware as well as software configurations to work out. One alternative is software for cloning desktops between monitors. Either method will require the boost in video signal strength and may see a need for a more hefty supply and extra internal cooling as well.

Sorry, your not specific enough. Do you want to play oblicion on three montors playing three identical images? Or do you want it so 1/3 of the game plays on each monitor?

If so, i think you would need a new video card that supports that, i dont think you can shortcut it.

The thought here would be to set up a large projection screen to simplify things. Generally either extended or cloned desktops are done strictly on a dual monitor setup often with a Y adapter coming out from the video card when the card can support it. The software used configures one or the other.
