Ok, i have a few projects that i am having problems with.

1. My main project is turning a bunch of free parts into a decent machine!

Right now, its got a p4 2.5ghz, 512mb ram, 1 cd-rw drive, 1 dvd burner, 1 8in floppy drive, 1 regular floppy drive and 1 zip drive. its got a nvidia 5600 or 5700, i can't remember which it is. its also got a wireless card and an ethernet card and finally 1: 20gb hdd and 1: 15gb hdd

the problem with this one is, i can't find out where to hook up the power button to..........BTW its actually a dell mobo! and its got an agp slot!

2. Using the same free parts, right now i have:

pentium 2 mobo 64mb ram 1: 1gb hdd 1: 450mb hdd 2 floppy drives and a 145w power supply.

i need to know where i can buy a pentium 2, and whatever else i need for this.

When you have the mobo installed ... bottom right corner. Make sure to use a Dell PSU too.

Any junk sale really.

ok, the power supply says newton on it, but its got all the right hookups and stuff on it.

also, is it the roundish thing that has the + on it?

thank you

The roundish thing is a battery. You should see a sticker like

PSU 101.

The power supply has a sticker like that, but the only brand i can find is newton.

And, not the battery, its a black, kinda tall round thing. like a cylinder shape.'
its got a hole in the top middle, like a pin hole, and it says + on it.

Read QUESTIONS 101 and you can find all the info you need for yerself :)

In any case, that's not a Dell compatible PSU AFAIK so youll need to grab a dell one

Thank u, oh, and the other projects:

This one i am on right now is getting slight updates, like more ram ect ect.

and i have to add a graphics card to the new computer we are getting, its got a pci express slot.

and finally, if i get the money, i am doing a $450 mini-itx project.
